Bad Bunny kept his highly-anticipated outfit under wraps by hiding in bed sheets earlier in the evening.
And the ensemble certainly was worth the wait as the 30-year-old reggaetón megastar - born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio - made a very fashionable reveal in custom Maison Margiela at the star-studded Met Gala 2024 in New York City on Monday.
Kendall Jenner's ex - who is one of the co-chairs of the event - strutted his stuff at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a Renaissance inspired number.
Bad Bunny looked like he would have fit right in the 15th century as he sported a navy blue suit featuring white contrast stitch resembling pin-stripes as the trousers featured bright red stripes down the inside.
He teamed the look with a pair of the French fashion-house's signature tabi style boots with a white to brown to black fade.

Bad Bunny accessorized with black leather gloves, massive diamond studded earrings, and gold rimmed sunglasses featuring diamond-shaped lenses.
Perhaps the boldest part of his look was a massive navy patte hat as he carried along a bouquet of flowers wuhich mirrored his look.
Earlier in the day, the music megastar did all he could to keep his look under wraps as he was seen leaving his hotel covered in what looked like white bed sheets
The Costume Institute's spring exhibition falls on the first Monday in May every year and is held at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This year the event is titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion while the dress code is The Garden of Time.
Bad Bunny was not the only co-chair as Jennifer Lopez, Zendayam and Chris Hemsworth all joined him as this year's co-chairs. Also on the committee is Vogue's Anna Wintour.
The honorary chairs for the evening are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.
'This year's co-chairs reflect a variety of career achievements, and all have distinct style histories with the Met Gala,' Vogue shared.

The showcase will feature approximately 250 items drawn from The Costume Institute's permanent collection - with many of the pieces too fragile to ever be worn again.
The pieces will all be displayed using elements such as AI, GCI, and more while playing up themes of land, sea, and sky.
'It is very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,' said Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu Curator in Charge of The Costume Institute, of the upcoming exhibition.
'One thing I hope this show will activate is that sensorial appreciation of fashion.'
Guests expected to attend include the Kardashians, Blake Lively, Hailey Bieber, Sarah Jessica Parker and Timothee Chalamet.
Gwendoline Christie, La La Anthony and Ashley Graham are hosting while YouTuber Emma Chamberlain is expected to interview stars on the red carpet.
